Monitor open tables in POS throughout the shift to verify all Guest checks are accounted for. Take orders and process into point-of-sale (POS) system, and process Guest check at the end of the meal. Monitor the timeliness of delivery to tables, communicating with food runners when needed.Įnsure Guest satisfaction by performing food quality checks and responding immediately to Guest complaints or concerns. Pre-bus tables as dishes become available for clearing. Provide necessary condiments to Guests before the meals arrive. Make other menu recommendations, up-selling when possible including offering appetizers, desserts, and coffee or other beverages. Describe specials, promotions and featured menu items. Take food and beverage orders from Guests.
Greet Guests at the table verbally with a warm welcome.
